Who we are

At Salams Foundation, we are driven by a deep belief in the power of kindness and hope to change lives. We are a passionate team dedicated to helping vulnerable women and children overcome challenges, rebuild their lives, and discover new opportunities to thrive.

Our story began with one woman’s courage in the face of unimaginable hardship. Our founder faced violence, homelessness, and the overwhelming responsibility of raising three young children alone, one with disabilities. Even with education and skills, she found herself struggling in a system that often overlooks those who need help the most.

Through these experiences, she saw not just the pain of those moments but also a calling—a chance to turn personal struggle into a mission to support others. Salams Foundation was created with a simple but powerful vision: to make sure no woman or child has to face life’s toughest battles alone.

Today, we are building a community of hope and resilience. Our programs focus on restoring dignity, empowering individuals, and creating lasting change. Together with our supporters and donors, we are turning heartbreak into hope and challenges into new beginnings.

Join us in making a difference. Together, we can build a world where every woman and child has the chance to heal, grow, and shine.
